Vocational training is training for a specific career or trade, excluding the professions. Vocational training focuses on practical applications of skills based on the child needs, interest and fine and gross motors ability.
The aim of the Vocational Training is to shape up the residual abilities of young persons with students with disabilities to enable them to participate in meaningful productive work, keeping in view their strengths, Special Needs, and environmental factors.
The part of the curriculum we are trying to develop various vocational activities for students with disabilities such as envelopmaking,Candle making, Book binding, Commercial Cookery, Leaf plate making, Printing, Horticulture, Tailoring and embroidery, and focusing on more Agro based vocational activities in rural part of NiramlDist, Telangana.
